Under the mountain

Suddenly
The train is diving under the mountain
A long tunnel of disused mines
The dimly lit tracks are flashing by
That's where the nights are meeting up
Towards the deep, the unfathomable
Only one station in The Moria
The platform, the crowd, he's waiting there for me
Beardless, impeccable suit
He smiles at me and doesn't say a word
The ancient Kingdom modernized
Overcrowded shopping centers
Escalators, several levels
The high vaults of the old Palace
Hidden by a neon sky
Appearances in the chasm
That's really what people wanted
Peace is signed, the 5th Age
All nations there come across
I won't turn around
I'll act on the wise old man's advice
A long smooth and clean corridor
A cul-de-sac, last door
And the huge stairs which take me down
To the real of the abyssal depths
I fetch Eurydice
