Personal note

Richard Magahiz

Seeing faces in Jupiter's cloudtops is normal.
That's what Control says, anyway.
To see cloud mouths shape words,
cloud cheeks crinkle around the eyes
I shouldn't mention, something tells me.
Or that my own face is there too,
the creases, the thickening round the brow.
They've been there ever since the flare
that took Lemire by surprise.

I play his music sometimes and hate it.
